Mystery Sonata
Première - 11th gennaio 2013 - Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Torino
MYSTERY SONATA is a dance installation that hasn’t a real beginning or ending. Conceived expressly for the spaces of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation of contemporary art, which also favored the meeting of the choreographer
Raphael Bianco with the artistic duo Alis / Filliol, with whom the project was perfected and shared in the form of an installation. Fundamental topics of the performance are: the coexistence of multiple realities and spatial dimensions (and their mutual influence), the spiritual heritage and its direct or indirect echo. The questions that the choreographer asks himself are the following: Where is the beginning and the ending of our actions and what remains of us to the others? What is the reality of the nature of things? (our visible or the impalpable one, dark and unknown to us but that surrounds us, or both?). And above all what is the relationship between the two?
