FONDAZIONE EGRI PER LA DANZA  announces an audition for the selection of professional dancers to join Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza for the 2024/2025 season.

 

Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza, directed by Susanna Egri and Raphael Bianco, was founded in Turin in 1999. It stands out for a repertoire of works full of social and spiritual values signed by Raphael Bianco and choreographers from the Italian and international artistic scene. EgriBiancoDanza embodies some of the distinctive features and values of Fondazione Egri per la Danza: curiosity, roots and innovation, research and sharing. Values that are required to all the artists of the Company. EgriBiancoDanza is composed of 8 dancers coming from high-level professional experiences and has a solid repertoire of theatrical performances, installations, and site-specific works.

 

The audition is scheduled for November 4 at 11:00 am at the headquarters of the EgriBiancoDanza Company in Turin in Via G. B. Vico 11. Directions: click here Apart from the above mentioned audition, another  selection for the period January - July 2024 is planned but  an immediate availability for the indicated period must be guaranteed. 

 

The audition includes classical dance class, contemporary dance class, company repertoire, improvisation workshop and interview.

 

Requirements:

 

• solid classical technique, proven experience in contemporary languages

• use of pointe shoes for women

• proven professional experience

• specific interest and knowledge of the work of the Company

• determination and enthusiasm, curiosity and openness to different modes in contemporary research

• interest in exchanging artistic experiences: to grow within EgriBiancoDanza and  promote growth of EgriBiancoDanza itself, Company grows  thanks to everyone’s talents, background  and skills
